How To Set Up Guitar Controller?

So I want to play Rock Band 2 on my PC. While I got the disc, bought a drive for my PC, and got a controller. It won't connect. Do I need a different platform controller? Download something? Buy a wired version? I got the RB1 PS3 wireless controller.

You just need to set the correct handler that picks up your guitar and pad type Guitar.
Probably the one that will pick up the PS3 Guitar by default is MMJoystick.

You also need to apply the game patches as the RPCS3 hardcoded Guitar ID is the Guitar Hero one and Rock Band does not support it at v1.00, only at a later update.
