Hi everyone,

I have trouble making Nier working on rpcs3-v0.0.5-6940-f491dc14_win64.
The game is in DISC form and is correctly placed on a folder in my Desktop.
When I launch the game, i'm getting multiple error and a black screen. I'm currently used VULKAN (Tried with and w/o the color Buffer but the errors remain the same).

Windows 10
Intel Core i5-4690k 3.5GHz
16GB RAM
Nvidia GTX 980 3GB
Video Drivers are also up to date.

I hope that you'll be able to help me, thanks you very much guys !

You didn't dump the disc properly. Read the Quickstart Guide very carefully and re-dump it.

Hi,
I apologize if I did something that could be avoided but if I cleary understood what i read, I can't play any games if i have neither a bluray disc or a PS3 ?

I know that I'm doing something wrong but I can't figure out what it is. I tried to use a patcher (the 3k3y one) but since I downloaded the game in it current state it looks like I can't do anything w/o what i mentioned above.

I select the folder > set up the ird file that I downloaded and I keep getting an error.

Thanks you and sorry !

PS : btw i have nothing inside my PS3_UPDATE.

In order to dump games, you need a Blu-Ray drive - either one for PC that reads PS3 games or a PS3 itself which has a Blu-Ray drive on it.

Since you violated Rule 1 of the forums, support is being terminated here and thread is being locked.
Feel free to ask for support dumping the game if you need, although the instructions on our Quickstart Guide should suffice.

The issue with the pirated copy you're using is known - though it could be a badly dumped disc, that's why I told you to dump it again following the instructions properly. You're not the first, nor the second, nor the third to receive a warning due to disrespecting Rule 1 with this game.
In general, don't ask for support with pirated copies anywhere, you would be wasting our time if we didn't already know of this issue from that pirated copy from previous occurrences.
