everything was 60 fps...
1 area in dmc 1 (at the start / before mission 1) had missing a few textures / displayed as black...
played at least 1 level of each game...
perfect sound + smooth gameplay Smile
Res upscaling works great + 16x AF Smile

FINISHED DMC2 DANTE, Half of Lucia... Finished half of DMC1 again not seems fine but some missing textures still using

In-game/playable?

when using GPU Texture Scaling and without ...
apparently not everyone is getting this issue...

DMC1 HD - Missing Textures in-game... screenshot included...
(perhaps some sound issues too... "devil may cry" words slur when you start the game and then cutscenes transition..., waiting for the sound lvl to be low before skipping videos seems to help a little)

   

DMC 2 HD - Rarely missing Textures in-game (City Buildings for example mission 3 or 4 especially i think) (Enemies seemed fine... for eg)

DMC 3 HD - going to spend more time testing now Smile

DMC 1 + DMC 2 = PLAYABLE with a few missing textures for some of us...

DMC3 IN-GAME
for less audio crashing try using CUSTOM BGM .ogg Audio files ... or try

before switching the files... trying to exit the ITEMS Shop would crash 95% of the time...
save whenever you can... + to be safer use the item shops between missions, instead of half-way in one...
(same song length, but smaller size - using Audacity) 

ERROR - LIBAUDIO DROPOUT - LIBAUDIO POSITION NO LONGER INCREMENTING!!  = hangs the EMULATOR... (CRASH)

Regarding the Crash on MISSION 5 (Interacting with a Quest Items) - I got past the crash by backing up  ST137_EFFECT.PAC and replacing it with a renamed ST136_EFFECT.PAC... game finally got past it ...

even TURBO MODE (20% speedup option) works at 60 fps smooth as for me... with hardly any crashing...
Log below = EMU hang/crash when changing areas in mission 4... on DMC3... happens often there apparently

Always provide a log before making a compatibility report, please read https://forums.rpcs3.net/thread-196671.html before posting.

Edit: Thanks but this doesn't seem playable yet, be sure to include more screenshots when doing a playable report so we can see performance and how the visuals look too.
Frequent crashes seem to be the main problem right now.

Managed to Successfully Decrypt a Save for DMC3... apparently all versions use US DISC style save folder/data... so this should work for all i think...
It has all missions unlocked + bloody palace... should be great to test other areas, since personally i can't get past mission 5 without a crash...

Hi, I'm able to run dmc 1, 2 (both dante and lucia disks) and 3!

My settings:
PPU LLVM
SPU ASMJIT

firmware: load liblv2.sprx only

additional setting: only checked enable spu loop detection

gpu:
render vulkan
resolution 1280x720
graphic device geforce gtx 1080 ti
aspect ratio 16:9
framelimit off
anisotropic automatic

additional settings, checked only "Use GPU Texture Scaling"


it runs at 60fps, it's really playable without any hack or mod!

DMC 1 + DMC 2 are Fine we know... but DMC 3 can't be finished in RPCS3 from start to finish...
if you use a decrypted completed game save, then you can skip the problem areas... For Example Mission 5 etc...
but it's the reason this still hasn't been moved to playable...

tried to edit previous post, but my net keeps dropping out apparently...

DMC 3 - Mission 5 Example - Upscaling Working really well... shame parts of the game still crashes... not long now for a fix perhaps...

Devil may cry 1 works perfectly with the exception of cut scenes that need to be skipped after the cutscene ends (not a game breaking issue and none of the story is missed)it runs at 60 fps almost all the time but drops to 45-50 in larger enviroments filled with enemies and at one point a cutscene was slower than the audio(mission 3) 

Devil may cry 3 works perfectly (60 fps,no crashes,bugs or audio issues)....until mission 3 where you get the shotgun upon which a popup in-game will appear and the game will freeze

additional:SPU loop detection (messing around with these does not seem to do much)

DMC3 still is more likely than not to hang at any loading, transition, or cutscene.

This issue seems to be gone now based on my testing...
also the problem with the Vajura in Mission 5 of DMC5 is fixed...
BUT there is a problem with the game selection eboot.bin so booting into DMC3 is best done using the DMC3.PPU.SELF...
once this last issue is fixed then we should be right to call this PLAYABLE... soon, very soon Smile
