Vulkan isn't listed in the Renderer dropdown, only Null and OpenGL. I tried recompiling from source, and it found the libvulkan.so, but there's still no Vulkan renderer listed when it runs. There are no errors either in the terminal output or the output panes on startup.

I've searched the prior threads, and only found recommendations to update drivers, but I'm reasonably up to date. What can I troubleshoot? Thanks.

Linux Mint 18.2, up to date
NVIDIA 384.90 driver
All apt packages containing the word 'vulkan' installed
GTX 1080
i7-6700k

As of the 2017-11-09 release, I now have Vulkan in my Renderers dropdown, without changing anything else in my system.
