Hi

Greetings from South America  Smile
First of all, i want to say THANKS from the bottom of my heart to all the people involved in the development of RPCS3, you guys are amazing, looking foward to this project. Best of luck.

Second, I have already read the FAQ  and thats why im writing this post.

In the upcoming days, I am gonna buy a new PC, desktop of course, and I am looking for CPU benchmarks so I can have an idea of which CPU I should buy... and my doubt is,  which benchmark tests should i care if I am 100% focus on playing games using RPCS3 at 4k or above....

> Single Thread Performances?
> Single Core Mixed Speed?
> Quad Core Mixed Speed?
> Multi Core Mixed Speed?

Im using this website as a tech guide for comparing cpus, gpus, etc..
http://cpu.userbenchmark.com

I know its too early to talk about specific hardware requirements for RPCS3, i know it can change during the development process but,  you can have an idea of which CPU will be better for RPCS3,  should i look for a CPU with high clock speeds or multiple threads or multiple cores? so which CPU is the best, and im looking for the BEST!!!! T.H.E    B.E.S.T CPU... money is not a problem to me... yet hahaha..

Thanks in advance
Cheers

i78700k is the best CPU you can get for RPCS3 at the moment. It has 6 cores and 12 threads and a base clock speed of 3.70GHz. As for the GPU GTX 1070 and above would be good enough for 4k with RPCS3 but not for PC games. For PC games you would need a SLI setup to enjoy games at 4K.

Yes I was thinking getting the 8700k but they seem to be sold out... Anyway, thank you for the reply.

7700k works not as well considering the thread count but they are still around. I use 4790k myself and no plans to upgrade for some time. Now going that route kills upgrade paths. DDR3 for example.
Mobo: ROG Maximus Hero VII
CPU: Intel 4790k O.C. to 4.6 GHZ
GPU: EVGA 1070 O.C. 100 MHZ and 250 on Memory
Ram: 16 gigs DDR3 2133 MHZ Timings 9-11-11-31
HDD: Roms on Seagate Baracuda 1TB
Monitor: Gateway 24" 1920x1200 60 Hertz
