I am using the latest build from the download page, and I am using the suggested settings for the game. [ Setting: http://imgur.com/a/ts59v ]

I get visual and audio stuttering in 2d (movie) cutscenes, I get 10-17fps in the intro dungeon, 7-11fps in the subway, 10-17fps in the backstreet. The only time it's actually okay is in the 3d cutscenes and battles where I get 25-30fps.

Is there something I am missing? Certain settings I am not using or a special build for the game?  Or is it my pc that cannot handle it?
[ Nvidia GTX 950, Intel® Core™ i7-4750HQ CPU @ 2.00GHz | 8 Threads | 15.89 GiB RAM]

And I've looked through some videos and learned of this pausing spu thread method (which I've attempted but didn't get any results), if it is necessary, how do I do it exactly?

EDIT: If it matters, my game is neither BLUS31604 nor NPEB02436, it's NPUB31848.

Playable just means it can be completed from the beginning to the end without any major technical difficulty's it doesn't say anything about the performance unless it's only running at 1-2 fps on every machine which would be really unplayable.
So yes the the performance you get is technically playable, if you personally don't find it an enjoyable experience in the current state get better hardware, just wait for performance improvements in the emulator like everyone else here or contribute yourself.

I'm running the latest build, have the recommended settings and whatever else was checked as default, I've tried the 1,2,3 SPU threads, I've tried turning off the checkable options in the GPU section, etc.

I'm running an Intel i5-6200U and a GeForce 940MX.

Poor performance is expected, your CPU is very bad.

So, i'm having a problem with this game, no matter how hard I try, it always have an error about 'Attached fragment is failed to compile' or so. This error preventing me to get into the main menu, always happens straight after opening cutscene

Is there anyway to pass this or just giving up about it?
Write in more detail. Attach the log.

I checked the specs of that thing.
No way in hell you're going to be able to run Persona 5 on "Atom X5 Z8700 64bit Quad Core 1.44GHz, Up to 2.24GHz CPU" without dedicated GPU.

Use 1k$ to buy a decent computer, there's no amount of optimizations that can make Persona 5 work on that thing.

So, I can't seem to get past the initial loading screen. My build is i5-7500, GTX 1070 and 16gigs of ram. Any help regarding this would be appreciated. Thanks.

Here's my last log file if that helps.

Am I the only one annoyed by this error randomly showing up during animated cutscenes, is this something I am doing wrong? game runs at full speed otherwise.

I am trying to upload the log file and is saying zip files are not allowed to upload?

Edit: Uploaded Log.

What's up with people complaining about poor performance on their 2 ghz laptops?

Playable doesn't mean playable for you, try a 5 ghz i7-7700k with TSX or maybe Ryzen.
