[Guide] How to export songs from Rock Band 1 to Rock Band 2 (2025)

This guide assumes you already know your way around RPCS3 (e.g. dumping games, pkg/rap installers, etc). I use a GH Wii Drum Kit wired via Raphnet V3 adapter.

You will need:

• RB1 base game
  
• RB1 1.07 patch (update)
  
• RB1 export key (DLC)
  
• RB1 songs, track packs (DLC)
  
• RB2 base game
  
• RB2 1.02 patch (update)
  

Steps:

1. RPCS3: Install update to RB1 base game.
   
2. RPCS3: Install export key after update.
   
3. RPCS3: Install all songs, track packs to RB1.
   
4. In-game: RB1 > Options > Export Songs
   
5. RPCS3: Install update to RB2 base game (recommended).
   
6. All exported songs should now be visible in RB2. If a new DLC is installed to RB1, it will automatically appear in RB2. No need to re-export (one-time event only).
