Hello Community :)
Any way i can run .sprx-based mod menus / Cheats?
The standard procedure (on a modded console) should be copying the .sprx files under dev_hdd0/tmp/ and replacing the EBOOT.PBP under dev_hdd0\game\BLUSxxxx\USRDIR
the sprx Files should be then loaded at game-boot.
RPCS3 not only wipes /tmp at boot but also won't allow loading the sprx files...
I've tried setting the "read only"flag on the mod file, it wont get deleted but still doesn't work..
any clues?
*edit*
Reading the logs, I've found out rpcs3 loads the .sprx files correctly upon boot when flagged as read-only but the overlay in game still doesn't work and there is no sign of it loading when the game boots.
I eventually found a eboot.pbp-only mod and that one is loading and works fine. I was afraid the overlay was working on a layer the emulator can't catch (like a vsh menu of sorts) but this one mod proved it wasn't the case.
If you wish trying by yourself here's a link to all the mods i am trying to load in this post
Specifically, those are mods for Call of Duty: Black ops
Currently testing with BLUS30591 Version 1.13 (with all DLCs)

the only one working for me is "Black Ops Zombie Menu" but that is without sprx
