Would the emulator work on Ubuntu in a Macbook Pro?

I know the emulator works on Windows and Linux, but not in Mac, however I wonder if after installing Ubuntu in a Macbook Pro, is possible RPCS3 would work?

If the hardware of your laptop meets the requirements, yes it will work
