Dear Ani,

another game - another problem !

So i dumped the european - German - Version of "Ridge Racer 7", that is, according to your compatibility-list, at least ingame ...
Now, everytime i attempt to boot it ( via right-click and "boot" ), it keeps telling me that the SELF Metaddata aren´t found ...

This is a common problem when "rap"-File is missing, but this is no PSN-game, its loaded from a disc-iso !!!!!!!!

Please read "log"-File as well.

What can i do ?!

You have an installed update for the game, it appears that the update requires a rap license

copy /dev_hdd0/game/BCES00009/USRDIR/license.edat to /dev_hdd0/home/00000001/exdata/EP0700-BCES00009_00-STEREO3DLICENSEK.rap

That is, make a copy of the edat with that RAP's name with .rap file extension and place in exdata

Ani,

did it as you wrote it: License.edat renamed to the proper name and added a .rap to it.
Just copied the license, not moving, so the license data ist still there ...

No luck, still says the "SELF metadata" - errormessage.

What did i do wrong ?!

Dear viewers,

i´ve had it here and uninstalled the entire game.
Now i installed the original-version WITHOUT any updates ...

Dunno if it works because i did not test it yet.

THX for reading my post nevertheless,

Daniel
