Update
Version used RPCS3-v0.0.5-6796-4e8ce7fa Alpha

The games FPS has increased by 1 or 2 but still under 10 and some stages are unplayable to the point where it sometimes freezes the whole game and i need to re-start RPCS3

Has there been any progress with this game? I mean i can play it but the sound constantly cracks, especially when there's a lot of enemies on screen

With turned on "Lower SPU thread priority" and "Relaxed ZCULL Sync" even on my Core i5-9400F it gives pretty solid 30FPS in battle with rare graphical and sound glitches and framerate drops and it's really pretty comfortable to play. Hope in future will be better. Split-screen is not playable

Somehow in RPCS3 Version: 0.0.13-11263-68931b4c Alpha game stopped working. Black screen at start and 9.98 FPS. Why?

Status: Playable

Notes:

- CPU: i9-10900K (no oc)
- GPU: GTX 970 (no oc)

- No firmware libraries manually loaded.

- Vulkan backend provides smooth performance, OpenGL stutters frequently.

- 28 hours of gameplay so far, no graphical glitches that I've noticed.
- On rare occasions audio clips won't play.
- The game has frozen/crashed 4 times in this timespan. None of the crashes were reproducable from what I could attempt.

Status: Ingame

Multiple tries into the first Yiling stage. With Vulkan, despite the lagginess thanks to the spec, things were playable until after I met Pang De and Ma Dai. The game would often crashes right after that scene. At one point I was able to manage past the Huang Zhong's scripted death, but I cannot replicate that. Following screenshot are taken the moment the game crashed when I was using Vulkan, with frame rate limited to 60, and ZCULL Approximate:
   


I also tried using OpenGL and I only able to get to the cutscene, with the audio cut out and crashes during that moment too.

CPU: I7-7700HQ
GPU: GeForce GTX 1050

As a side note, I completed Samurai Warriors 4 Empires with less lag, and no crashes. Two story settings completed too.

Status: In-game

Random freezing occurring, crash/freeze is reproduceable. The game is freezing consistently when doing musou, triple musou, and ultimate musou. Crashes/freezing also occur before a mission ends or right before a cutscene. This makes the game unable to progress, almost unplayable.

   


   


   

The frames and performance are good aside from the audio cracking when there are too many assets in the screen. It's the random crashes/freezes that kills it. I'm forced to end rpcs3 in the processes each time there was a freezing.

CPU: Ryzen 5 3400G
GPU: Vega 11
