[Demon's Souls] Increasingly longer black screen before loading screen

The actual game itself is silky smooth but the more I reboot the game the longer the black screen before the actual loading screen gets.

Specs: CPU: Intel i9-13900KF 
GPU: RTX 4090
RAM: 32gb
The game is installed on SSD

Any idea how to fix this? I haven't heard anyone else having the same problem which is really odd. Thanks for your time

Try Settings > System > Clear cache automatically
