Around 70+ hours into the game the next day when I opened the game it kept freezing on the same part of the menu screen. I've tried looking through the tool-tips and other peoples threads and still cant resolve the problem. The log in the client says Thread terminated due to fatal error: Verification failed:
(in file d:\a\1\s\rpcs3\Loader\PSF.cpp:118)
this message also shows up when I try to access my save data from within rpcs3 and Im assuming this is where the problem is coming from. Here are my specs: Gtx1060 Intel® Core™ i7-8750H CPU @ 2.20GHz / and 16gb of ram. I have attached the TTY and Log .7z files along with a screenshot of where the game freezes every time.

.7z   RPCS3.7z (Size: 146.17 KB / Downloads: 1)

Is there anyway to make a copy of the save file that isn't corrupt? or do I have to restart from the beginning. And how do I know if it wont corrupt again out of the blue?

Just remove the save data that's corrupt, you'll have to figure out which one it is, there are 16 slots on Persona 5.

You obviously can't know if the save will corrupt or not before it does. It can corrupt if your computer loses power, the OS or the application crash, etc.
The solution is keeping backups of your saves as with everything else.

I removed all of the save data and it still kept freezing. I also reinstalled both the emulator and the game and the problem still persists.

Verification on save data functionality can't happen if there's no save data, you installed the game on an empty installation of the emulator and this still happens??
