Dynasty Warriors 6 Empires during gameplay freezes 1 - 5+ minutes in!

weird issue in this game, i played the playstation 2 emulator on dynasty warriors 3 just fine but dynasty warriors 6 empires has a freeze issue that i have been unable to figure out how to solve. i tried playing with all kinds of CPU and GPU options in the ps3 emulator configurations. i was wondering if anyone else who played this game on this emulator had the freeze issue or if they were able to solve the issue or if there is a particular setting that bypasses the freeze. please let me know
