Error starting rpcs3 - Etnamita - 05-20-2025
Hi, I just updated Rpcs3 and every time I try to launch the program I get this message I don't know what to do.

I already installed Microsoft Visual C++ 2015-2022 System:
AMD FX™-8350 Eight-Core Processor 4.01 GHz
RAM 16.0 GB
Windows 10 Pro 64bit 22H2

The issue is that your GPU drivers are outdated, if you update your drivers it will work.
However, we have fixed the issue on https://github.com/RPCS3/rpcs3/pull/17237, whenever the build is available it will work, but you will need to download it manually and extract on top of your current build

Hi, thanks for replying, unfortunately I'm stuck on legacy drivers for my radeon r9 290, I don't have many ps3 games but those 3 games I had worked fine before the update. Anyway I'll try to do as you say, thanks and good work.
