Hello.
Thanks for reading my topic.
I see in https://rpcs3.net/quickstart#supported_devices_pcs need more details in minimum requirements for RAM.
The information is minimum requirements is "8 GB of RAM or more", but not has details if is for windows and linux.
For windows and few Linux distros having 8 GB RAM does sense. However has Linux distros use much less RAM than Fedora and Ubuntu.
For example here I use Lubuntu being Ubuntu with LXQT using less of 400 MB RAM.
I have done an test with several games with current build having recent improvements in ram usage and total RAM usage OS + RPCS3 is less of 3,1 GB.
However has some games having an ram high usage above 4 GB RAM as for example GT6, but GT6 not run in minimum requirement so the requirement for that game perhaps will be 8 GB.
Thus being in "minimum requirements" for Windows is 8 GB and for Linux between 4 to 8 GB RAM relative to distro used.
In "minimum and recommended requirements" GPU not has details the amount of VRAM.
In minimum only has details for OpenGL :
AMD Evergreen architecture, HD 5000 series or newer
NVIDIA Fermi architecture, GTX 400 series or newer
but maybe added for Vulkan minimum video card being Nvidia GT 630 1 GB VRAM
In recommended GPU not has details about amount of VRAM being 2 GB for FullHD and 4 or 8 GB VRAM for 2K and 4K if using high internal resolution.
That type of information help users.
