Hot Shots Golf World Invitational [NPUA80864] Suddenly no longer works - GameChanger96 - 10-24-2024
Hello. I downloaded the PS3 emulator about 2 years ago exactly, and this was one of the games I spend a lot of time playing. I now came back to the game, and it no longer launches. It freezes on the 'now loading' screen.
I took a screenshot of the log area where you can see some kind of errors are being repeated over and over, but the website here wouldnt allow me to post more than 1 screenshot. It says this in the emulator log area nonstop in a loop: "U cellCamera TODO: cellCameraGetType(dev_num=0, type=*0xd01a8db4)
U cellCamera TODO: cellCameraGetBufferInfoEx(dev_num=0, info=0x175d848)"
I shared screenshot of the Now Loading screen where it freezes below.
I never changed or updated anything with the emulator or the game, so I'm not sure why it no longer works. I even tried downloading the newest version of the rpcs3 emulator, made a totally new/separate folder, put the game in it, and tried to play on the new version but I got the same result. I'm not an expert on emulator debugging/fixing or how to use all the the options sadly, so if anyone could possibly help please let me know! I saw a post about this game from like 6 years ago, with the same now loading problem, but there wasn't any info on how they got it working. Thank you.
