MGS4 0x68000008 error - SolidYawn - 02-01-2024
I've been trying to get MGS4 to work on my computer recently, and for some reason I can start the game but it crashes on the loading screen after selecting a difficulty. the error it gives me is
"F {PPU[0x1000001] Thread (MGS4 MAIN) [0x000ae22c]} VM: Access violation reading location 0x68000008 (unmapped memory)". I've tried searching this error up but couldn't find anything, so I'm hoping I'll get an answer here. I've already added the canary patch, crash fix, and changed the configurations to those recommended on the wiki, so I'm not quite sure what to do next.
