Question about game updates - Rex0 - 02-01-2023
I have searched hard about this but got mixed answers. I have seen two types of game updates:
1. ones that are almost the same size as the main game or sometimes larger
2. ones that are significantly smaller sized
I tried installing #1 type updates without installing the main game. They installed fine and the games seem to work fine as well. Is this the right way for these kind of updates?
The #2 type updates obviously require the main game. But then with these updates I have seen that sometimes they are cumulative, meaning that you only need the last update. Other times they all need to be installed in order.
RPCS3 wiki only says one thing, that you need to install all updates in order. This creates confusion.
So how do we go about installing these different kinds of updates?
