CPU: Intel i7 3770K, 4 Cores, 8 Threats at 4.2 GHz
RAM: 32 DDR3 1600MHz RAM
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti 4GB
OS: Windows 10 Pro 21H2
PS3 firmware in RPCS3: 4.88RPCS3 freshly downloaded, no settings changes, still default settings. I only set my PS4 Controller as game pad.
Game stuck in menu. I can create new game save or choose/load existing game save.
But game does not start. It stays there in the menu ...

Maybe do I need to set any specific configuration for this game?

what if you disable native user interface in emulator settings.

Thanks for this hint! I tried the way you described. Unfortunately nothing has changed. The only difference now is that I have to choose/load save data via RPCS3 window via mouse (instead native PS3 ui), but it is still same issue ...

This issue is fixed by one of the last changes.
After creating a new save game and selecting it, the game starts as intended.
You can move "Aqua Panic! [NPUB30203]" tothe playable section 👍

I got the game to work, but there is some sort of issue in general with RPCS3 and timing for this game. depending on the settings, i sometimes are require clicking the savegame twice, and also what storage the RPCS3 is running from. The game folder with harddisk files is not causing any issues, but after moving a fresh installation of RPCS3 between different storage i had different outcome where some places the game could not continue from the menu. i had best luck running the game in opengl and all settings as strict as possible and no multithreaded enabled.
I have attached the logs from the same installation, just on different disks. one works, and the other don't
