Gran Turismo 5 Performance Issues - TiredofForums - 04-01-2021 I'm having performance issues on Gran Turismo 5, yet I've seen people with lower end specs than I, play it at 60 FPS perfectly fine. Not only that but I have to have my computer off for 30s+ after using the Emulator cause it bogs down my computer. Is this normal? Computer Specifications: CPU: I7-9750H (9th Generation Intel - Although I'm sure that's obvious) GPU: RTX 2060 Ram: 16GB DDR4 - 2666MHZ x1 SDD: 512GB SSD NVME by Western Digital OS: Windows 10 (obviously) I saw someone with a 1660, and an I5 9th Gen run way better than I. Is there perhaps some optimization I must do in order to have it play smoothly? I could care less about graphics I just want full on-performance. RE: Gran Turismo 5 Performance Issues - Ani - 04-02-2021 No, it won't run that well, specially with a laptop CPU. Also the game crashes constantly Either way, missing log file to know for sure if you can improve performance a bit, but don't expect 60 FPS RE: Gran Turismo 5 Performance Issues - TiredofForums - 04-17-2021 (04-02-2021, 01:09 PM)Ani Wrote: No, it won't run that well, specially with a laptop CPU. But this stupid pathetic emulator doesn't let you reduce the graphics quality, I could care less about graphics quality, real gamers care about performance. I guess GT5 is pointless for me to keep any longer, even though I have HIGH-end specs. RE: Gran Turismo 5 Performance Issues - Ani - 04-17-2021 Karma always wins, good riddance and good to know that it didn't work for you with that attitude. Please refrain from posting more cringe, it's ok to not understand a thing about emulation, PS3 architecture, graphical settings on console games, and even fail to identify what the bottleneck actually is, but don't need to top it up by calling yourself a "real gamer" or calling a mobile 45W hexa-core with RTX 2060 "HIGH-end specs". |
