I just started testing this emulator, and I have a basic question. I see that there is a forum section called "playable", and every thread there refers to a specific game with an attached zip file. Upon opening this, is see that it appears to be a configuration file, only it is titled (gamename).log. I tried to place this in the folder where the current config file for the game that I am testing is and renaming it to match the old file already in there (I renamed the old one to preserve it). However, when I started the game, I noticed on the printout that it failed to load the configuration file.
I probably missed the answer somewhere, but how am I supposed to use these .log files? Thanks in advance!

Log file lists configuration but it can't be used as a config file as is. Log files are supposed to be opened on a code editor and read. You can copy the config section of the log file and paste it over your own config file, or just compare the main settings and see if anything differs on yours and change it through the UI.

So, in my case I installed Tetris from this thread: https://forums.rpcs3.net/showthread.php?tid=197902&highlight=tetris, is that the same as what this thread instructs? When I open the downloaded compressed file "RPCS3.log" I get the .log file for Tetris, which list these requirements: "AMD Ryzen 5 1600 Six-Core Processor | 12 Threads | 15.94 GiB RAM | AVX+" as well as "·! 0:06:00.245120 LDR: Title: Tetris®". My desktop sets the emulator itself at "AMD Ryzen 7 5700X 8-Core Processor | 16 Threads | 15.93 GiB RAM | TSC: 3.394GHz | AVX+ | FMA3", do I actually paste over these actual emulator files??? I feel like that would mess up my emulator? I read in another thread https://forums.rpcs3.net/showthread.php?tid=200989 to not touch said log files because no, I don't rlly know what I'm doing here, RPCS is my first emulator. Additionally, I haven't opened the files in a cmd prompt or reader, just the integrated win11 notepad.

The log files are only for developers that know how to use them in order to debug the emulator.
If you're not a developer and don't understand what a log is, you're not supposed to be touching them.
You can't install games from forum threads, that much should be obvious. We're a forum to discuss game compatibility, not a game store.
