Motorstorm - POOR performance w/i58600K and 1080TI? Help! - Delt31 - 11-15-2020 RPCS3 is really awesome and as a big motorstorm fan, I instantly tried it to see how it played. Unfortunately, with the settings I’ve used from other youtubers, my game is 20fps or lower even though I have a I58600K 4.5ghz OC, 1080TI and 16gb ram. What am I doing wrong? I will say that when I boot the game, on the RPCS3 screen I can see lines in the log that are red. MS Pacific is even worse. Trying just at normal resolution too. Any help? RE: Motorstorm - POOR performance w/i58600K and 1080TI? Help! - Ani - 11-15-2020 None of the games you mentioned are Playable, they're known to not perform well and that's one of they main reasons they're not Playable yet RE: Motorstorm - POOR performance w/i58600K and 1080TI? Help! - Delt31 - 11-17-2020 Thanks but look at this video..... Seems like it is playable no? https://youtu.be/DLX8KAd4avs Here is one for Pacific rift.....4k too! Are these fake? https://youtu.be/uF57D44ol2g RE: Motorstorm - POOR performance w/i58600K and 1080TI? Have you considered the possibility of the copy of the game you have right now functioning poorly? I've had copies of games I play that would function particularly poorly but switch to the EU disk / US disk vice versa and have better performance. I presume you also have a clean CPU that isn't being clogged by unnecessary apps running in the background? (In task manager how much of its being used before game is run?) RE: Motorstorm - POOR performance w/i58600K and 1080TI? Help! - Ani - 11-18-2020 First video clearly uses i9-9900K at 5GHz with patches. Second video has no CPU reference but probably similar. RE: Motorstorm - POOR performance w/i58600K and 1080TI? Help! - Delt31 - 11-26-2020 Sorry but I don't understand - is the game working or not? Those videos aren't all running on a I9-990K and the emu wouldn't work just b/c of it. I feel like I'm missing something here. It's not the version of the game either. Any other thoughts? Help! - Augusto - 01-02-2021 You not say about what the OS if is windows or Linux. Not enable Power Profile Power saver use instead use Power Profile Performance. RE: Motorstorm - POOR performance w/i58600K and 1080TI? Help! - Delt31 - 01-13-2021 OS is windows 10. RE: Motorstorm - POOR performance w/i58600K and 1080TI? Help! - Delt31 - 02-21-2021 I will update my own thread. It took a i9 9900k and 2080ti but damn it this game plays well now haha |
