Anyway to play GT5 on LLVM PPU without crashing? - Gamester - 08-17-2020 Hey folks, So one of the main reason I play RPCS3 is because of the Gran Turismo games, since GT7 won't be out until PS5. I can get GT5 to run pretty much correctly and without crashes my newly built Intel i9 based PC, but to do so, I have to use one of the Interpreter settings for the PPU instead of normal LLVM or the game will freeze up and crash RPCS3 after a few minutes of playing. As you know, when using any of the Interpreter settings in RPCS3, all game's FPS turn to molasses. I have spent many hours testing pretty much every setting in RPCS3 regarding the PPU, Advanced section, Debug console, everything I could think of or find online and the game will just not run on LLVM without crashing. So, my question to you good folks is has anyone out there found a setting that can keep GT5 running on without crashing on LLVM PPU? Thank you, Gamester RE: Anyway to play GT5 on LLVM PPU without crashing? - Ani - 08-18-2020 GT5 will crash every few minutes, it's one of the most unstable games right now. Ok, figured it was just a compatibility thing as of now; I'll keep using the PPU Interpreter then until future RPCS3 releases resolve it as I don't get any crashes when using it, just low FPS. Thanks once again for the info Ani |
