Haze [BLUS30094] "Error accessing save data" prevents me from getting to main menu - Zach Fett - 03-06-2020 I've been trying to get Haze running, but this error message at the start is stopping me in my tracks. It shows up right after the "Press Start" screen, tells me to delete the corrupted save data, takes me to a screen where I can delete it, then once I'm done it brings me back to the error message, wanting me to do it again because it immediately creates another save profile. An endless cycle of this. I've tried deleting the save data while in-game at the error screen, I've tried using a 100% save file off GameFaqs, nothing is letting me past this error. In the thread for this "Playable" game no one else seemed to have this issue. Google can't even find any mention of this error message on any other sites. Does anyone have any ideas of what I can do here? RE: Haze [BLUS30094] "Error accessing save data" prevents me from getting to main menu - Zach Fett - 03-08-2020 Forgot to attach the log file originally, so I've attached it to this reply. Getting an error that I can't attach it due to it's filetype. Weird. Here's a Mega link of it: https://mega.nz/#!N6gzXK7D!2v79EYNqJY_LIkSWCML48i6XF2H2X7CX7FejzeGPkzo Also it seems I'm not alone with this issue, someone else on r/RPCS3 said they're also dealing with it: https://www.reddit.com/r/rpcs3/comments/fepzp5/haze_error_accessing_save_data_prevents_me_from/fjxjmpz/ Just had the bright idea to test out an older version of RPCS3, one from October 31st (since the last YouTube videos I could find were from 6 months ago, I figured this might be a good starting point). Surprise, Haze works perfectly fine on RPCS3 0.0.7-9053-03a2d36c Alpha. So at some point since October the emulator regressed and that error occurs that I mentioned above. I'm attempting to go through every build from October forward to find which build exactly is the one where it regressed. Edit: Just submitted a regression report on GitHub, I discovered exactly which build is where the issue popped up. https://github.com/RPCS3/rpcs3/issues/7738 Haze worked fine up until 0.0.9-9791, where the above error message started appearing. |
