Recommended CPU - BloodyBonzai - 01-27-2020
I noticed that on the main RPCS3 site, the recommended CPU is Haswell and above. Is this due to features that were implemented into the CPU (such as AVX, SSE, or anything else) that are required for using certain features available in RPCS3 that otherwise would be unavailable with an older CPU that would cause imperfections in the emulation or anything else, or is it purely based on what is considered necessary to achieve performance that is playable where an earlier generation CPU such as the i7-860 @ 4.0 Ghz might not suffice at native resolution?

Hi, official system requirements of RPCS3 are: CPU - AMD 6-core with SMT or 8-cores and up (Ryzen only)
So which CPU will be better for RPCS 3 Ryzen 5 1600 (SMT) or Ryzen 5 3500 (no SMT)?
