Fatal Error - Amdvlk64.dll related - Calmo - 09-01-2019 So I launch rpcs3.exe and after a few seconds I'm hit with this message; https://ibb.co/cQm5NPF I hit ignore to try to proceed, rpcs3 loads up but is unresponsive, then I'm hit with this Error; https://ibb.co/SvzVQMz It also says at the bottom of rpcs3 that Vulkan has timed out. What I've tried;
GeForce GTX 970 4GB (Vulkan 1.1 support) Driver version 436.15 I5-3570k CPU @ 3.40GHz 12GB RAM ASRock H61M-DGS Mobo Obviously there is a problem with Vulkan here, just can't seem to get around it. I can't get as far as installing firmware because of this error. Any help would be appreciated, any more info I can give just let me know. Cheers! You need to use DDU to uninstall the AMD drivers, not the NVIDIA ones. I had to Download Vulkan-1.dll after removing the AMD leftovers, and now it's working fine. I appreciate the assistance. Many thanks! Don't, it won't work fine, and you shouldn't be downloading system32 DLLs out of the internet. You now need to use DDU on your NVIDIA drivers and install them again if you're missing that library. But I do understand your point and I knew the next step was to reinstall Nvidia drivers, I was just being lazy, probably because I have wiped and reinstalled them so many times recently. If i run into any problems whatsoever I will do just that. Thanks again. |
