RPCS3 in Linux - no log files - amicose - 08-18-2019

I've got RPCS3 working in Windows (as control test) on the same computer (Ryzen 3600, GTX 1060 3GB, 16GB RAM @ 3200), but the same game files crash soon as the game window opens on Pop OS 19.04.
Trying to check the log files so I can troubleshoot/get some help and... there aren't any?
They're present in the equivalent folder on Windows.
Have I got something wrong here? Should I be looking somewhere else?
