Intro. Infinitely loads when new game is selected. Audio and graphics in the menu itself seem to look fine.
Tried multiple settings, couldn't get past the initial load.

Could you try creating any of these folders if missing?

/dev_hdd0/game/NPEB00573/USRDIR/INSTALL/packages/core/env/al_char_stage/Some games fails to install themeselves, but can progress if a folder is manually created.

Tested, unfortunately it still hangs on load. I'll attach the log file just in case there's anything else you want to poke at. I'd be happy to test any other ideas for you.

Ingame. I don't really see a particular reason this isn't playable, but talking to NPCs has some graphical errors. Haven't played for more than a few minutes, will test further another time.
