Relevant settings for best status:
PPU: fast (LLVM: nothing)
Notes:
-Lower FPS in later regions, still playable though.
Video makes the required 3 screenshots redundant. If deemed necessary anyway, just say so and I'll edit them into the post.

Quick update on this title, it no longer needs PPU fast to run and the shadow issues seen in the above video have been fixed. The framerate's pretty much a solid 60 now as well, albeit with a different rig. I'm not aware of any further issues.

yup, another regression caused by Megamouse's awful PR https://github.com/RPCS3/rpcs3/pull/6416 and his sloppy fix #6545. it is interesting that he continues to ignore all the games that are still broken by his pr and he isnt even trying to fix them anymore. so strange neko and the entire rpcs3 team continues to allow this huge regression to continue without any solution. Megamouse broke the emulator with that pr but nobody seems to care. dont understand it...

Megamouse' initial PR did not break this game, the follow-up PR did, and it's not even been a day since the regression was reported. I haven't even opened an issue for it on GitHub yet. An issue has been opened.
As for the rest of your post, Ani's been pretty straightforward about it. It'll be fixed, just give it time.
Update: This was fixed by #6583 and is playable on latest master (0.0.7-8739-c50119ae).
