It's already payable, you can pay for it here, on Amazon or eBay.

Ingame as of https://forums.rpcs3.net/thread-178946-post-294549.html#pid294549 with RPCS3 v0.0.4-6314-2053de088 Alpha

RE: inFamous [BCES00609] - BFG9000 - 06-08-2019

Version: 0.0.6-8194-1dedeb37
Framerate is around 10-18 fps, but also drops to less than 1 fps when something (cars) explode.
Lighting is missing, "Write Color Buffers" doesn't help either.

CPU: R5 1600
GPU: RX480
RAM: 8GB-3000

Seeing that post above compared to what I have now shows a pretty significant improvement in overall performance (Although maybe its hardware) I went back to playing this on my PS3 to see how it compares, and I have to say in some parts it isn't far off at all. I took it a bit further (To the end of first glimpse) and a couple things did stand out.
-Framerate is definitely improved, no longer seeing a drop whenever a car explodes.
-Still some lighting/graphical issues (No shadow of man in the garage when you first get control, heat haze from fires not rendering correctly, strange lighting on characters and a buggy texture on the floor on Zeke's roof.Have tried w/ & w/out white colour buffers, no change.)
-Obvious audio stuttering, although it only seems to occur when either at low fps or a very loud sound is playing (i:e, exploding car)
-A couple of audio overlaps/dialogue skips (One when being asked to charge batteries, the other skipping a line in the karma decision about the food)

Couple other things seemingly unrelated, on 2 playthroughs of this I have had at least one wave of reapers disappear (You can see in the video, the 3rd wave that comes from the left vanishes) And I have also had the Trish model disappear in the cutscene that plays after choosing an option in the karmic decision.

RE: inFamous [BCES00609] - kay1 - 10-20-2019

RPCS3 v0.0.7-8942-996534c5
Did a full playthrough of the main story and most of the side missions. The only major issue is performance (10-20fps in Core i5 7300HQ) and thus very choppy audio.

Came back to this a couple years later, very impressed. All audio stuttering issues are completely gone (Although I have upgraded my cpu quite considerably so that may be a factor R5 1600 -> R7 5800X) I'm very much leaning towards playable for this. Will run a playthrough over the next X amount of time to validate.

I've successfully completed the game without any bugs or crashes. Occasionally, there were some freezes for few minutes (up to 10 min), but it was not a critical problem. Overall, the game is playable on my system at 40 fps average. I used settings from wiki.

So, admins let's move to playable!
