Running 5820K @ 4.5Ghz and 1080Ti here BTW, no change in FPS between 720p or native 4K (using latest build) RPCS3 v0.0.3-3-6d6b281 Alpha | HEAD Intel® Core i7-5820K CPU @ 3.30GHz | 12 Threads | 31.92 GiB RAM | AVX RE: Metal Gear Solid 3 - Snake Eater HD [NPEB00684] - QOTSANINSOADKORN - 10-18-2017 (10-10-2017, 05:25 AM)ViruzZ Wrote: This game runs 14fps on average, any idea how to increase FPS? RPCS3 v0.0.3-3-4aa8913 Alpha FPS seems a bit better but not at 100% yet... RE: Metal Gear Solid 3 - Snake Eater HD [NPEB00684] - n1ghttrap - 01-09-2020 3700x stock, Win 10 1909, 2060 Super stock, RPCS3 .8-9355, Vulkan, no resolution mods/AA/AF 40-60fps depending on what you're looking at (game speed tied to framerate, so this isn't really playable), some minor sorting/transparency issues. (intro cutscene in the plane has lensflares and monitors in front of everything, Snake's hand and cigar sorting is odd, transparent where it shouldn't be) Almost there, but not quite. Side note, the MSX games run fine. RE: Metal Gear Solid 3 - Snake Eater HD [NPEB00684] - Flashforward - 04-14-2020 Ryzen 9 3900x (stock), Windows 10 1909, GTX 1080, RPCS3 .9-10201. Running the game with Vulkan in 4K. Relaxed ZCULL Sync enabled, GPU Texture scaling enabled through debug settings. Mostly 60fps, very playable with minimal graphical glitches (nothing caught my eye in particular, but I haven't watched every cutscene fully). I've gotten quite far already, am pretty much near the end. Have not experienced a single crash. The game does slow down from time to time, it sort of depends on the area. Edit: It slows down a lot during the chase section near the end and the fight at the end. Down to 30fps, which is half speed. RE: Metal Gear Solid 3 - Snake Eater HD [NPEB00684] - soapsuds - 06-22-2020 v 0.0.10-10506 OS: Linux. Vulkan. R7 2700x Vega 56. Game was playable, major slowdowns in some areas though as reported. Biggest issue I ran into so far is the credit sequence in MGS3, the credits are kinda readable but the screen is flashing red over and over again. Overall it worked really well RE: Metal Gear Solid 3 - Snake Eater HD [NPEB00684] - imi2003 - 08-12-2024 Build 0.0.32-16799-60b7448d Alpha OS: Windows 11 GPU: AMD Radeon 6950XT - Vulkan CPU AMD 5950X Default settings, game is fully playable with zero issues so far. Solid 60fps No graphical issues at all |
