I have installed the Game from PSN PKG - my ID is BCES01176 not BCES01175 - after the ring loading icon - it says controllers are not detected even though they work fine in other games. Even unplugging my wireless xbox360 controller didnt help.

I played and completed this game back in June using the recommended settings from the Wiki and almost all the provided patches.
As of PR #14149 the game still has significant graphical glitches which are resolved using the patches, for screenshots see the thread on github for that PR. However the campaign can be played from start to finish at full speed with just a few screen effects missing if you have the specs.
