RE: E.X. Troopers [NPJB00235] - Etokapa - 05-27-2017 Game: E.X. Troopers (?????????) [NPJB00235] RPCS3 Version: 0.0.2-5-7739f33 Alpha | 19 May, 2017 | FW 04.81 Specs: i7-4770 | GTX 1080 | 24GB DDR3 | Windows 10 x64 Status: Ingame (Completed flying portion of Prologue.) Core: Automatically load required libraries Graphics: 1280x720 | 16:9 | Frame limit Off | Use GPU texture scaling Audio: XAudio2 Input/Output: XInput (Using an official PS3 controller with SCPToolkit drivers) See Also: E.X. Troopers Demo [NPHB00522], E.X. Troopers Demo [NPJB90534]. Tested on 1 combination of the Renderer, PPU, and SPU configurations. The game creates a save file on startup. If you start the emulator again after the save file is made, you must delete it first for RPCS3 to continue. Textures on models that move do not render properly. The game freezes during combat in tutorial that it didn't used to in a previous RPCS3 build. OPENGL OGL+Int(f)+Rec(ASMJIT): Ingame. 50-60FPS during menus and pre-rendered cutscenes. AVG 17 FPS during main gameplay. RE: E.X. Troopers [NPJB00235] - Asinine - 03-11-2018 RPCS3 v0.0.5-6500-7bbadfd08 Playable! RE: E.X. Troopers [NPJB00235] - Asinine - 03-26-2018 Moving back to ingame until issues from the disc version thread are fixed, I didn't test this game for very long as the disc versions were supposedly fully playable already. RE: E.X. Troopers [NPJB00235] - Etokapa - 05-21-2018 Build: rpcs3-v0.0.5-6815-c9669818_win64 Cached Shaders: 1029 Status: Ingame/Playable? (Completed one story mission, four side missions, and the final boss.) Menus: 60FPS | Lobby: 30-60FPS | Missions: 40-60FPS Decided to try the game again now that some time has passed. Excellent results so far, with only minor graphical issues. The game seems to "lose" files as it does in BLJM60528, but not as frequently from what I've seen while playing. Earning a Trophy freezes the game with the exception of music. I don't know specifically what has improved performance with this game, but now I get higher framerates while playing. It's much smoother than an actual PS3 and much nicer looking with higher internal resolutions! Minor graphical issues include: • Some costumes on characters cause them to become T-Poses. • The VR Lobby room that usually has an oversaturated blue hue to the screen disappears and reappears depending on when the camera is moved. • Menu backgrounds show the correct colors and then change colors when navigating them.
