Hi, do not know why some builds have this, and some do not?

UPD.
The devil driver AMD has fallen several times, especially offensive after half an hour of playing with a pair of bosses.
I decided to reinstall the driver.

Nope I get the same exact error and have an Nvidia card so no is not AMD fault, it just seems to randomly crash after a long while of playing.

Edit: There seems to be a video card memory leak, the VRAM usage is out of control and slowly keeps growing until it crashes, this is something that did not happen in the beginning and I suspect is related to a new version, I am currently using the last before the Vertex update (second o last), I need to sleep will check this out in more detail on Saturday.

Edit2: this was a driver issue, fixed it... doing a lot of work (damn you nvidia and your shitty drivers) anyway this is back to play great.

I also have the same problem with an Nvidia card, but reload of driver didn't help. How old version do you have now?

RE: Persona 5 [BLUS31604] - lxcom - 08-24-2017

Was playing fine on the latest build 5867 but got a BSOD due to a video scheduler internal error and couldn't load the game after. The shaders do not compile and I get this:
F {rsx::thread} class std::logic_error thrown: fs::file is null
https://www.mediafire.com/file/qg29wwe8ub10o5c/RPCS3.log

Older versions of rpcs3 before the vertex cache rewrite still work.

Update your graphics card driver to avoid BSOD.

Delete the data folder for the "fs::file is null" error.

Deleted the data folder and the game loads again but I blue screened again even though I updated to latest drivers. I have a Nvidia Geforce GTX 1050 and am on 385.41 drivers.

The Emulator can't really cause a BSOD like this, in my experience it's most likely something on your system, could be just the OS or a faulty Driver or more likely faulty Hardware.
The Emulator taxes the system pretty heavily so if something is about to break it most likely will so if you checked your OS and Drivers (consider a clean OS reinstall) and it still occurs, check the cooling and your components especially the gfx card,HDD and power supply.

Well I've only gotten BSOD recently when using the latest version of rpcs3 and had no problems with the old versions as I've played over 60 hours on them and am now on NG+ in Kaneshiro's palace. Error code for both BSODs was video scheduler internal error. 1st BSOD occurred after selecting infiltrate palace. 2nd one occurred after attacking in battle. No other intensive games or emulators have caused any problems.

That doesn't mean anything i read these reports all the time you can go to any game or emulator forums and there are always reports like that and in most cases it turns out something in the system of the user was at fault be it hardware or software, things can break at any time there is no rule to it.
Also in almost all cases the users blame the application first and don't even want to admit their own system could be the culprit.
Windows it self has enough security measures to ensure applications can't really cause BSODs if something goes wrong the application crashes but not the whole system.
I also don't see any other reports here about the emulator causing BSODs if the application was at fault there would be surely more then just your report of this happening don't you think?

I've been playing for hours (5-6) Persona 5, no BSOD so far, it's probably a bad overclocking

RE: Persona 5 [BLUS31604] - Tomwa - 08-25-2017

I'm getting worse performance on my Threadripper PC than my old 6700K PC.

I've updated all the drivers (Including GPU and Chipset) and I tried the most recent nightly as well as this build: https://ci.appveyor.com/project/rpcs3/rpcs3/build/0.0.3-5656/artifacts

The CPU is water cooled so it can probably be overclocked but it runs pretty quick at stock.
