A year later and it only shows this message, but at least it's not just a black screen anymore! RPCS3 will freeze if you try moving the emulator window.
RIP. Disabled Native UI and it just shows that HDD Message. Loadable.

disable RPCS3's native ui and try again, want to make sure this error that displays is actually being rendered by the game before i move it to intro.
