Will work fine with system requirements we posted. Why send me a Private message about this? Of course a 40thread CPU thats ivy bridge isn't going to handle RPCS3 well. It's emulating a system with farr less cores.

My first post here.  Thanks everyone for their hard work on this awesome tool that helps us play our PS3 games on our computer rigs.  Smile

With regards to NHL Legacy, I seem to be able to get it more or less working, but the controls lag to what is happening on screen.  Not only that, but when the buzzer horn sounds, it visibly still shows 2-3 seconds left, and then quickly zooms down to zero in a split second as if it was millisecond instead of seconds.  Anything I can do to improve the gameplay?  (I'm not as concerned about quality - I just want it to run smoothly)

I've attached my settings in the attachments.  Any help would be appreciated

My specs are as follows:

Dell Inspiron 5680
Intel Core i7-8700 CPU
16GB Ram
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 3GB

U cant do anything with non OC CPU.

Game is playing really well for me (first time trying in like a year), but everything is a wireframe with sort of semi-transparent textures?
Any ideas what I'm doing wrong?

Followed the advice of Vulkan on, TSX & SPU Loop detection both off.

EDIT: nevermind - simple search - had to disable AA as I'm on AMD Navi (5600 xt) - sorry. I'll leave this post here in case anyone else runs into this issue.

Just a follow up, but this plays mostly *brilliantly*! This is totally awesome!

The only issue I'm running across is some slight stuttering/hesitations during game play.

It's weird because the FPS doesn't drop when it does it. It usually lasts 10-30 seconds or so and you can mostly "play through it", but it does impact things a touch, as you might imagine with something as fast paced as hockey, where fluidity matters quite a bit.

Anyone have any guesses what might be going on there? Some time of accessing/processing/cache or memory issue?

It's so so close to perfect

Wow - ok guys - I just played a butter smooth upscaled game & had to share..

Forgive me if some of my settings changes made no difference or its placebo, but whatever I just tweaked dialed it in.

Looks gorgeous and I played literally a perfect game (maybe 3 short audio stutters and that's it)..  I have this game on a real PS3 sitting next to me and I compared them and the game play was essentially perfect.  I think turning on vsync and letting FPS go auto might have been the smoothness ticket.

The only panels I tweaked were CPU & GPU, attached as images in this post.

Is it just me or game is unplayable since 0.0.10 update ? Menu is working fine but when i try to get into game blackscreen will appear. I had no issues in older version.

It works fine

Works fine but still not perfect. Audio stutters and game will sometimes desync and begin to lag (and fall out of time with countdown clock) after collisions or shots on goal. I imagine this is due to some taxing physics calculation that cause the game to micro-stutter. Also, panning the camera towards the crowd during replay, or during any interlude cutscene will take the fps from 120fps to 15fps on my rig.

Use wakeup delay ..basic stuff, audio is very minor and u can use audio delay too. Who knows if its not your 120 fps.. It wasnt running like that on PS3.

We're almost there Smile I get constant 60fps with a Ryzen 5 2600 @ 4GHz but it is in slow-motion. Anybody has some tips? Already have wakeup-delay at 200 and tried many different settings (SPU Threads, Block size, RSX Multithreading). Might need to upgrade to tge Ryzen 7 3700x soon, hopefully this fixes it. Funny thing is, all 6 "logical" threads are at 100%.

Also, I have the game at 1280x780@300%. NHL 2k8 and 2k10 look very sharp, however, this one is still fuzzy and blurry:

Any ideas how to fix this?

Thanks everybody for the work! Great to finally get modern hockey on PC.

The rendering in many EA sports games dont seem to play well with RPCS3 resolution scale.  There is a github issue for this, ill see if I can find it.

The "slowdown" you report is still 100% an issue and no settings Ive tried fix this.  It seems to be an issue with the emulation simply being too taxing to keep up with the game logic in certain situations which cause a desync between the game logic and what ui components like the countdown clock report.

For reference, I'm running a 3700x and a 2070 SUPER.
