Intro.

RE: Derrick The Deathfin [NPUB30926] - Asinine - 09-12-2017

RPCS3 v0.0.3-3-f0358f8 Alpha
Ingame

You must use PPU Interpreter or it will give an unregistered function error.

Vulkan:
Enable Write Color Buffers or the screen will be black during the title and loading screens.
The game is rendered upside-down.
OpenGL:
Doesn't need write color buffers.
The screen is green during loading and some other screens.
Enable strict rendering mode or the game will flickers back and forth between the loading image and gameplay, however this also causes the graphics to go back to being upside down!

RE: Derrick The Deathfin [NPUB30926] - Asinine - 11-17-2017

RPCS3 v0.0.4-6090-223f17ac Alpha
Playable!
Requires PPU Interpreter (fast) and 1920x1080 resolution to stop flickering

The game no longer needs Write Color Buffers as well.

RE: Derrick The Deathfin [NPUB30926] - cleverest - 03-06-2022

Didn't notice any flickering or green/loading screen issues with latest RPC3 - RPCS3 Version: 0.0.21-13333-aafd74f9 Alpha

Seems to play fine. Only played and beat the first two levels though. Using standard PPU Decoder: LLVM and SPU Decoder: ASMJIT settings, Vsync on, 150% Resolution scale (1920x1080)
