Sometimes I can get through a mission but most of the time it freezes and I have to close it and restart. Any tips on settings to get this game playing smooth without freezing or crashing? I tried Grand Theft Auto V but that's barely playable, constantly slows down, loud noises, crashes, etc... No issue with performance though, when it isn't crashing every five minutes the game runs great on my humble specs (i5 6600k oc'd to 4.5ghz, 16gb RAM, GTX 970) even in split-screen multiplayer. Runs an average of 30FPS, but not consistently. It will flux between 20fps-60fps, but hovering around 30fps. As shown in video. Not really playable state, but also it is playable. So.. haha. It ain't perfect, but it seems to have come a long way, since the previous response. I enabled "60 FPS" in the GPU, and in the Advance section I bumped the Vblank up to 120. The game ran GREAT. I have upgraded my PC since that post, and the game runs pretty much flawlessly for me now on my i7 12700k/RTX2060 super. The last time I tested the game on the i5 6600k/GTX970 it was still crashing back in May/June. |
