RE: rpcs3 optimization on laptop - nikvur12 - 02-20-2016

what kind of settings should i try on my laptop for better integration. when i try to test a game i see that my Nvidia gtx 660m doesn't use resources at all. maybe that's because of dx12 but i could launch api benchmarks.

Don't expect to get any better FPS. There's really nothing you can do to get better perfomance, except getting better hardware.
If you want to see good perfomance come back in ~3+ years.

rpcs3 is cpu limited no matter what you can do.

I run on a octacore I7 mobile with 860M and can run games really well even with no optimisation through RPCS3, only downside is that it appears most are broken, haha..

All mobile i7s only go up to 4 cores I think? Only like the i7-5960X and similar extreme edition CPUs have 8 cores (and 16 threads).
Most recent and good laptops can run RPCS3 just fine I believe. If you have some kind of i7 HQ cpu you should be good.
There are only 7 games in the playable list so yeah, pretty much every game is broken at this state. If you can't get one of those games to behave properly in the latest releases, you should report it (with a log).

I stand corrected, 4 logical with 2 cores per logical.
