Write color buffers is needed. I have manually decrypted \USRDIR\util_ps3\dm.EDAT but i dont know if it's necessary doing that.

When the FPS count gets >0 just keep pressing cross (k).

Try with 720x480 and downscale. And decrypt that edat if you haven't already done.

So here is what I did, write depth and color buffer, 720x480, and 480p downscale. Decrypt dm.EDAT with

make_npdata -v -b dm.EDAT BOOT.bin 0 (Takes 5 seconds, whatever)
make_npdata -v -d dm.EDAT out.EDAT 8

and replace the old dm.EDAT with the new one.

I get the screenshots from OP, and a lot of severely broken graphics on the way. After pressing start the game hangs for a minute or two (presumably loading) on a black screen, before resuming. It's now running at about 5 fps, however the screen is black. Looking in the RSX debugger you see that it goes through several different textures at different addresses with different sizes, but they are all either completely black, or garbage:



So I guess the game is running at this point, but you neither see nor hear anything.

(In addition from OP I also get this, although it's flickering to black pretty badly, this was probably the best it looked for a frame or two.)

It seems that's not even menu from this video (we are just at the 10th second)

All I am getting is a black screen with 40-45 fps, and i am pressing cross but nothing happens...

Did you enable write color buffer ?

That happens when \USRDIR\util_ps3\dm.EDAT is not decrypted, I saw it myself.

You can decrypt it by looking at this post: http://www.emunewz.net/forum/showthread.php?tid=163024&pid=211960#pid211960

and use the commands below. (First place BOOT.bin in the same folder as make_npdata.exe and dm.EDAT)

make_npdata -v -b dm.EDAT BOOT.bin 0
make_npdata -v -d dm.EDAT out.EDAT 8

Or don't bother, this game doesn't do anything else but display the very broken graphics you see above Wink
