That issue is fixed with Read Color Buffers.. See the wiki https://wiki.rpcs3.net/index.php?title=MotorStorm:_Pacific_Rift#Configuration

Playable, honestly has been for at least 5 months. Use settings from: https://wiki.rpcs3.net/index.php?title=MotorStorm:_Pacific_Rift#Configuration WCB and RCB are needed to fix issues with graphics.
Use disable dynamic res scale patch via manage > game patches. 60FPS patch works well aside from it causing you to drive slower through deep water, though this mostly affects smaller vehicles.
Not a huge issue as most tracks let you drive around water. For Split-Screen, 3 and 4player co-op are pretty hard to play.

I have a 5950X, but a 12400F gets similar perf, and both are overkill for this game.

One of the patch descriptions for that literally says it's a known issue with using it.

I wouldn't know if it could ever be fixed or not.

Anyways, since my last post, my framerate MAY have improved a little bit, at least in the good corners I might finally hit 30 for just that small moment (with no AI around), but I still don't think I'll ever get stable 30 on my now ancient 2600K lol. (pre-Haswell / TSX) No matter what GPU?

I'm guessing nobody has made any breakthroughs in fixing the violent camera shake at 60 FPS yet? It's genuinely unbearable to play at times.  Sad
