RE: Silent Hill Downpour [BLUS30565] - Psycho-A - 09-09-2017 Saw on this video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2tqSALw1AYs) shadows working, does anyone know how it was achieved? I tried any settings combination and all is useless. The cut scenes will load, and I can sometimes get in-game Settings: PPU decoder: Recompiler LLVM SPU Decoder: Recompiler ASMJIT GPU: Vulkan RE: Silent Hill Downpour [BLUS30565] - Psycho-A - 09-27-2017 Strict Rendering Mode must be turned On to get rid of GUI glitches. RE: Silent Hill Downpour [BLUS30565] - Ale10000 - 10-03-2017 Can anyone Try on latest build with Vulkan,it just close itself for me RE: Silent Hill Downpour [BLUS30565] - sector333 - 10-13-2017 i have gotten silent hill downpour running on a rather low spec pc at near playable condition, also didnt encounter any lighting glitches to say but did get some texture load issues. my spec is cpu: amd athlon x4 860k gpu: nvidia gtx 750ti ram:16 gb 1600mhz on windows 10. i get around 20-30fps. in some scenes with heavy render i get more frames if i tilt the camera a little to the floor or zoom in the view. my congig is. cpu: ppu: recompiler ASMJIT spu:recompiler LLVM 4 spu threads. (note i read a developermanual for making ps3 games and most develpoers utiliezed the 4 spu threads given to them, so i thought allowing it access to these 4 threads might help, it helped tremendously) bind spu threads to secondary cores. lower spu thread priority enablee spu loop detection. firmware settings: automatically load required libararys. GPU: vulkan 1280x720 use gpu texture scaling strict rendering mode, frame limit off, vsync off. i will hopefully upload some screenshots and or a video soon but i cant get fraps to take any screenshots or even appear which i heard in vulkan it doesnt. this is my first attempt and the first game im attempting with so i will continue to focus on this silent hill game and more. any replys are appreicated and respected just note im a begginer so i really dont understand to much of this yet. sorry for any spelling or grammar mistakes. THIS IS THE MANUAL I MENTIONED. http://games.soc.napier.ac.uk/resources/ps3/ps3_tutorial_006.pdf RE: Silent Hill Downpour [BLUS30565] - Psycho-A - 10-13-2017 Quote:also didnt encounter any lighting glitches This is impossible because the lighting is still not fixed in any version of the emulator. No dynamic shadows, there are lots overbrights in every bright lisht sources, incorrect lighting of some textures. You probably don't know how the game should look on real console Quote:4 spu threads. This game better runs with setting threads to 1, and PPU threads to 3, otherwise you'll often get micro-freezes with max CPU load. I also recommend to disable FXAA smoothing and DynamicPS3ResolutionChange in coalesced_int.bin file (it's inside of SHGame/CookedPS3/ folder) to get clear 720p rendering instead of crappy 576p smoothed to 720. RE: Silent Hill Downpour [BLUS30565] - Djipi - 10-17-2017 I have just finish Silent Hill Downpour Start to end . Except some graphicals problem (light , shadows) and the first movie freeze problem , the game run with minor slowdown and totally playable miley: Great work RPCS3 Team RE: Silent Hill Downpour [BLUS30565] - RyanBurnsRed - 10-17-2017 How did you guys get it to work?
