Red Dead Redemption [BLUS30418] - interpolnyc - 08-14-2018

Hello

I´m new at this but I want to share and improve my experience.

Yesterday I downloaded the RPCS3 versión from https://ci.appveyor.com/project/rpcs3/rpcs3/build/0.0.5-0a30c563/artifacts

And then the versión of Red dead that is in the title and after a few options I´m running the game. I just completed the first mission.

I get 10fps near buildings and about 24/25 fps when I´m in less populated áreas. I think is great and I want to know by your experience wich settings may improve the performance.

I´m using

I7 7700k @ 4.5ghz
1080ti MSI stock
16 gb ram @ 3200 MHz
HDD 1 TB

The settings in CPU menú are

PPu decoder: LLVM
SPU decoder: ASMJIT
Firmware: Load libv2
Aditional settings: SPU cache // ENABLE SPU loop detection

Preferred SPU threads: AUTO
SPU block size: SAFE
TSX Instructions: disabled.

GPU MENU:

VULKAN
recommended resolution
GPU texture scaling

So if anyone want to share something to improve or change or what can I try to help out here I´m here to try it.

Thanks and I hope it helps.

Red dead redemption is for me one of the greatest of all time and thats why I want it to be playable in PC.  Heart

RPCS3 0.0.7-9222-321f7e71

CTD with PPU decoder on llvm recompiler and game version 1.08
Gets to menu screen with game version 1.00, but infinite loading screen with TSX enabled
10-15 fps in game without TSX and PPU llvm.

Attached log is in game without TSX and PPU llvm

Edit: Got it working with game version 1.08. Still crashes with PPU llvm. Got it to load a decrypted save from my PS3 with TSX enabled, but my horse was invisible

RPCSX version :    rpcs3-v0.0.11-10665-af1ceb11_win64

Game working flawlessly between 17 and 30 fps consistently with 16x anisotropic filtering, antialiasing, no crashes, on Vulcan using Radeon Vega 56 on Ryzen 7 2700. I was having it fail consistently until I checked "disable native float16 support" in Advanced. All CPU settings are set to default.
