Oh this seems to work. Strict Rendering Mode no longer stops the gameĀ from running when Write Color Buffers is enabled. RE: Persona 4 Arena Ultimax [BLUS31469] - ELROD - 04-14-2018 Hi. When using resolution scale, there are some graphical glitches (characters blink). Is this something to report? If so, is this the right place to do so? Cheers. RE: Persona 4 Arena Ultimax [BLUS31469] - Rotlung - 04-14-2018 Try again with Strict Rendering Mode, which fixes the blinking but (unfortunately in your case) also disables resolution scaling. The game might not boot properly after the title screen, and the fix would be to enable Write Color Buffers. I tried with Vulkan and OpenGL as well as with and without strict rendering mode andwrite color buffers as suggested but my game still crashes during the opening cinematic. I also get a bunch of code that looks like this W {PPU[0x1000020] Thread (sync-controSpursHdlr0) [0x01a0948c]} PPU: 'sys_spu_thread_group_join' aborted (5.000153s) ! {PPU[0x1000020] Thread (sync-controSpursHdlr0)} Thread time: 0.000000s (0.038695Gc); Faults: 0 [rsx:0, spu:0]; W {PPU[0x1000002] Thread (SpursHdlr0) [0x01a0948c]} PPU: 'sys_spu_thread_group_join' aborted (10.703673s) ! {PPU[0x1000002] Thread (SpursHdlr0)} Thread time: 0.000000s (0.091978Gc); Faults: 0 [rsx:0, spu:0]; E {PPU[0x1000000] Thread (main_thread)} Stat: '_sys_prx_get_module_id_by_name' failed with 0x8001112e : CELL_PRX_ERROR_UNKNOWN_MODULE [x4] E {PPU[0x1000000] Thread (main_thread)} Stat: '_sys_lwmutex_lock' failed with 0x80010005 : CELL_ESRCH [x4] ! {PPU[0x1000000] Thread (main_thread)} Thread time: 4.921875s (16.619667Gc); Faults: 0 [rsx:0, spu:0]; W {PPU[0x1000004] Thread (SpursHdlr0) [0x01a0948c]} PPU: 'sys_spu_thread_group_join' aborted (9.624980s) RE: Persona 4 Arena Ultimax [BLUS31469] - Haloarbiter117 - 08-19-2018 Persona 4 Arena Ultimax Story Mode is 100% unplayable if you use ASMJIT Recompiler. After some testing I found out the anime cutscenes like the intro one breaks the game if you run with ASMJIT. This doesn't happen if you use interpreter fast, cutscenes plays normally and I can actually get to main menu without removing the file and same goes for the story mode scenes. The issue with interpreter fast is that the game will randomly hang whenever it wants to, sound will disappear after 2-5min with this option. I wish this could be looked into, because yeah you can play the non-story stuff with no problems other than that sound can vanish with ASMJIT but story will be unplayable. RE: Persona 4 Arena Ultimax [BLUS31469] - hobbithawk - 02-24-2019 This used to play perfectly just a few months back (last version I'm sure of is 6880) but now on most recent (7087) it seems to be failing again. Not that hard though. the game seems to work well enough but no matter what I switch on or off, (Strict render, WCB, Vertex Cache) it doesn't fix some weird fluttering graphics (mainly with Yukiko) anyone know what this might be about? RE: Persona 4 Arena Ultimax [BLUS31469] - cleverest - 03-21-2022 RPCS3 Version: 0.0.21-13362-c5748983 Alpha Just confirming. Appears to be playable. Vulkan, default settings. |
