RE: Disgaea D2 [BLES01939] - koSTENLPFan - 12-07-2015 Hi All. I tried to run the game today, and it shows an animated boot logo. Someone on Windows 10 should test with the DX12 backend and see if it looks better. I tried to run the game today, and it shows an animated boot logo. Planning on testing today with LLEs from Disgaea 4, I'll let you know results. RE: Disgaea D2 [BLES01939] - goob47 - 12-21-2015 Tried it today with the following LLE modules enabled: cellAdec_Library v1.1 cellAtrac3dec_Library v1.1 cellAtrac3multidec_Library v1.1 cellAtrac_Library v1.1 cellAtracXdec_Library v1.1 CELL_L10N_PRX_MODULE_NAME v1.1 cellPngDec_Library v1.1 cellSpursJq_Library v1.1 cellSre_Library v1.1 cellAuthDialogUtility v1.1 I got as far as the prinny-spinning loading screen at about 50 fps for nearly 4 seconds, then an error: "Exception: Access violation reading location 0x4 (in file ..\Utilities\Thread.cpp:1128, in function_se_translator)" I will upload a full log file after I perform a bit more troubleshooting. My thoughts currently are that I can't get to the menu because instead of loading a skippable intro scene before the menu (like Disgaea 3 and 4), Disgaea D2 shows it after a short loading screen, which prevents it from being skipped. I will use the different avi LLE modules that Guided Fate Paradox is currently using to display its intros, but all help is appreciated. My rig is as follows: CPU - Intel i7 4790k (4.4 GHz) GPU - GTX 960 SSC (no overclock) RAM - 16 GB DDR3 @ 1333 MHz (just wanted to say I love this community and will do all I can to get this emulator up and running! <3) RE: Disgaea D2 [BLES01939] - koSTENLPFan - 01-10-2016 v0.0.0.6-5-b055747 Boot logo shows correctly in OpenGL. But after pushing "Stop" button it crashes. RE: Disgaea D2 [BLES01939] - Mskex - 02-24-2016 Hello, after i load the game it shows the loading screen without problem but it seems it crashes as soon as the loading screen ends, without showing intro. Being the pc illiterate i am i have no idea what the log means, it would be really really awsome if somebody could help me. Thanks... RE: Disgaea D2 [BLES01939] - tambre - 02-24-2016 It crashed and that's about it. Seems like there are some internal errors from the engine, though. RE: Disgaea D2 [BLES01939] - Lemiru - 08-03-2016 Last reply was in february so I decide to test how disgaea D2 works now. Game don't stuck in loading screen anymore and I can even start new game. Problem is very long loading time for any locations (usualy I must wait few minutes) and missing character voices and music (and other sounds doesn't work properly because game work in +-10 fps). Here you have two screenshots from tutorial battle: My PC: GeForce GTX 760 Intel Core I5-4590 8 GB RAM RE: Disgaea D2 [BLES01939] - ssshadow - 10-15-2016 Loading times are still insane, we are taking 10 minutes after the intro and loading the first scene outside, but if you enable a bunch of audio modules music and voice acting is kind of working. It will usually play for a bit and then cut off, but sometimes reappear when it feels like it. The game is working, even with the PPU recompiler which helps the frame rate a little bit (but not loading times), it just sounds terrible and takes forever to load. And this is some kind of I/O issue because CPU usage is only around 3 % when loading... Code: - libac3dec.prx |
