I've updated all the drivers (Including GPU and Chipset) and I tried the most recent nightly as well as this build: https://ci.appveyor.com/project/rpcs3/rpcs3/build/0.0.3-5656/artifacts

The CPU is water cooled so it can probably be overclocked but it runs pretty quick at stock.

Maybe the 6700k had TSX.

Try setting affinity to one CCX cluster on the Ryzen.

Are you using Quad-Channel? TR will lose performance on Dual-Channel. Activating NUMA (Non-Uniform Memory Access) should also help a little: https://www.techspot.com/review/1465-amd-ryzen-threadripper-1950x-1920x/page6.html

Going to try reverting my drivers. I was able to play on the latest version using OpenGL for several hours while Vulcan BSODs me in about 10-20 minutes. Any other potential fixes that aren't updating latest to graphics driver? I have an i7 7700HQ and GTX 1050.

Edit: Reverted to 384.94 and 382.53 but still failed. Idk what's wrong with my computer and Vulcan in latest rpcs3. OpenGL works fine oddly enough but caching shaders takes way longer than Vulcan.

Bad overclocking doesn't mean that it gets very hot the cpu, it means that you have not stability. Did you try at stock speed?

hey guys, so i'm playing this on latest build and i always get video and audio stuttering in video cutscene like in the opening video and in game video but it says 30fps. any ideas?

RE: Persona 5 [BLUS31604] - Nirvis - 08-28-2017

Is this game actually playable? Because it says it is in the compatibility list, but it's as unplayable as it was for me.
I am using the latest build from the download page, and I am using the suggested settings for the game. [ Setting: http://imgur.com/a/ts59v ]

I get visual and audio stuttering in 2d (movie) cutscenes, I get 10-17fps in the intro dungeon, 7-11fps in the subway, 10-17fps in the backstreet. The only time it's actually okay is in the 3d cutscenes and battles where I get 25-30fps.

Is there something I am missing? Certain settings I am not using or a special build for the game?  Or is it my pc that cannot handle it?
[ Nvidia GTX 950, Intel® Core™ i7-4750HQ CPU @ 2.00GHz | 8 Threads | 15.89 GiB RAM]

And I've looked through some videos and learned of this pausing spu thread method (which I've attempted but didn't get any results), if it is necessary, how do I do it exactly?

EDIT: If it matters, my game is neither BLUS31604 nor NPEB02436, it's NPUB31848.

I'm having a bit of trouble with my game, same problem as Nirvis. Compatibility list says its playable, but I get 30 FPS on cutscenes (though they feel like 10 FPS) and anywhere from 10 to 17 FPS everywhere else.

I'm running the latest build, have the recommended settings and whatever else was checked as default, I've tried the 1,2,3 SPU threads, I've tried turning off the checkable options in the GPU section, etc.

I'm running an Intel i5-6200U and a GeForce 940MX.

I needs some help

So, i'm having a problem with this game, no matter how hard I try, it always have an error about 'Attached fragment is failed to compile' or so. This error preventing me to get into the main menu, always happens straight after opening cutscene

Is there anyway to pass this or just giving up about it?

Hello!
I went through the whole game, now I'm playing a new +, and so - no solution. Even on top PC so. I recommend watching the video on YouTube!
