RE: Gran Turismo® 6 [BCES01893] - Ani - 03-08-2019 No one is wasting time on random games no developer even owns, this is not a porting service, this is an emulator for the whole platforms, there are no per game hacks. In fact, recent PRs improved Gran Turismo games a lot. Saying there's "no love" for Gran Turismo is just lying. RE: Gran Turismo® 6 [BCES01893] - ///Mark - 03-10-2019 I appreciate the work that you devs have put into RPCS3 as a functioning emulator thus far and i'm trying my hardest not to bash other people for liking different games, but firstly: there's no justification for emulating games that are already available and playable on a PC. It is a waste of time and resources. RPCS3 has been a workable emulator for two years, however common PS games such as GT6 and Metal Gear Solid 4 aren't playable. All this time and they haven't been touched, yet people are working to emulate games already playable on Windows! Secondly: What if instead of working to emulate every single anime game made for the PS3, devs broadened the style of games available to play using this emulator. It's in their best interest if they wish RPCS3 to gain popularity and funding. If RPCS3 developers aren't prepared to deviate from the titles they like (Which is almost always anime or some other fantasy nonsense), people shouldn't back the software. It's fair to say that you shouldn't have to take interest in what other people want out of the emulator, but it's different when people are paying you. They expect better than that and so they should. What people want is a PS3 emulator. What's happening, is somebody's getting to quit actual work so they can be paid to make an Anime Emulator. If making the most common Playstation 3 titles playable is too much to ask, then I don't want to waste any more of my own time on RPCS3. GPU: OpenGL, Framelimit: Off Firmware: Auto load Audio Output: XAudio2, With & Without Buffer, Downmixed to Stereo Keyboard: Basic Behavior is same with all listed settings. Log File: https://pastebin.com/qvTiVZR0 RE: Gran Turismo® 6 [BCES01893] - Veritas0923 - 03-12-2019 Got a bit farther in latest build. PPU: Fast, SPU: LLVM Here's a log file from name entry. It ceases to function after entering a name and just stays at loading screen forever. Disabling Native UI is required to enter the name.
