(I'm new here so I don't know what is going on in this topic.)

I really like Skate 2 and RPCS3 is the only emulator that plays it well but I have so many problems such as:

Stutter fps. (Whenever I'm just riding around like you do my fps randomly drops a few fps let's say it randomly drops 5 fps even when my player is completely still.)
Slow-Motion. (When I go to parts of the map that give me like 25 or more fps the game speed turns to slow-motion like speeds.)

So sometimes those problems just annoy me so I can't play like you would play it on Xbox 360 or PlayStation 3 and obviously like anyone else this would just annoy people if Skate 3 or EA Skate wasn't playable but Skate 3 and EA Skate give me a good 30 to 60 fps BECAUSE it is playable I just hope that the people at RPCS3 can get around to make it more optimized.

After being absent from the emulator for a year or so, i decided to return. booting up Skate 2 first (BLES00461) I was surprised to see that the issue at slappy's park seems to be fixed! you can now explore freely. played an extra mission which seems to run just fine!
Hopefully this can get moved to playable like the rest of the series now Big Grin

Your CPU is too weak. Slow-motion happens in Skate games when physics thread is being starved, can be "fixed" sometimes by changin preferred spu threads e.g to 1, 2 or 3. But then if your cpu was slow now you'll probably starve the audio thread and audio will turn into a mess instead. You just need a decent CPU and it's fine.

Steady 60fps gameplay, all missions work.
The blog posts with photos are black, but you can still complete the missions just fine.

EDIT: Completed all missions required to get the Perfectionist trophy, completing the career 100%. This game is fully playable.

Can you share your setting? I have a 3700X and a 2070 but I get dips to ~30 frames and it doesn't take inputs well during these dips. I can barely play
