Here is an actual solution, for what ever reason the first time you go into mementoes it is broken. Allow the enemies to ambush you ( its only 3 slimes each time) then complete the quest to change the stalker's heart.

After that is completed and you come out of that mini-boss fight, you will be in side of the cat bus properly and not just walking around.



This will only work if there is no doors between you and the ! quest destination

Although this leads to the exact opposite problem later on. where you cannot stop being the catbus and therefore cannot proceed to a lower floor.

yeah, at first quest, i though i figured out the solution. But when i do the second quest, i can't find the ! unless i open the door. But too bad, the only way to open the door is when you ride the catbus... so i can't open a single door at the mementos

After Talking with Shadow, it seems that if we run it in PPU mode (fast) it somehow circumvents the issue. I dont know why this is, but PPU interpreter Fast is much slower than recompiler ( dropping from 25-45 FPS down to 12-20 ) and increased load times.

Proof of working, Settings are PPU Interpreter (fast) SPU recompiler(ASMJIT), Vulkan

Graphics card is irrelevant, PS3 graphics are PS3 graphics. Use PPU LLVM, SPU ASMJIT, and Vulkan. Tick no other graphics settings.

What CPU do you have?
